We’re inviting you to a unique seascape and former sheep farm setting to evoke and bring to the surface a memory of a time, a place, a person, or event that had meaning in the past for you, and that you have always wanted to write about. It will be about letting go of barriers, distractions, and procrastinations and allowing the scene to  prompt a significant memory and get it down on the page – in any form you wish. This is memoir work but it has no prescribed form – essay, narrative, poetic, lyrical, expository – the content you choose will tell you how to write it. The ‘level’ of your writing is insignificant, this will be about just writing the words down.

There will be break times for camaraderie and nourishment of light food and drink. We will share feedback or not, as you wish.

Please bring a bag lunch; coffee, tea, sparkling water and snacks will be provided. We will meet from 10AM – 4PM Sunday June 25, 2023. The workshop is limited to 8 participants. Please reserve your spot by June 18, 2023.
