The focus of this class is to support memoir and essay writers in uncovering and returning to what they feel is the true essence of who they are as people. We begin with a photograph that you feel depicts your true nature or essence. Not necessarily how society, family, friends or employers view you, but who you understand yourself to be at a core level.
Through this organic and ongoing process of return, you will be better equipped to make meaning and find purpose shining through the paths you have followed, as you begin to express and write from your authentic nature. This class is designed to help cultivate a writing voice that comes from your unique and deep personal essence. Please bring a bag lunch; coffee, tea, sparkling water and snacks included. We will meet from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm each day.
