During this workshop, Joy will demystify the concept of art licensing by discussing what, where and with whom art can be licensed. We will consider what forms of art can be licensed and the purposes of different types of licensing. We will also touch on the topic of print on demand (POD), which is a primary sector of the art licensing field. We will end by discussing licensing companies for art submissions.

Olivia’s love of nature and passion for photography are intertwined, resulting in magical landscape images. Recently she has expanded her creative pursuits to include watercolor/acrylic painting, printmaking and collage. Inspiration comes from immersing herself in nature and practicing mindfulness where everyday objects are seen in a meaningful way. She recently ended a four-year nomadic travel adventure to settle in Nova Scotia. Her images have appeared in Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, Papyrus Cards, Target, on book covers and on the walls of homes and businesses around the globe.
