Two solid days of creating in our journals! What a happy time at 26 Split Rock Cove!
Keeping a Visual Journal workshop with Ingrid Ellison and other eager artists and writers on a rainy weekend was just what we all needed.
For those who have never taken a workshop with Ingrid Ellison, she comes with everything one needs: brushes, pens, markers, paints, inks, gesso, material, glues, stencils, carbon paper, tape, and much, much more. She brings a hand-out that is full of methods and interesting possibilities.
Ingrid supplies prompts for those who want or need one, demonstrations for how to work best with many materials,
her own visual journals for inspiration,
and a lot of support in real time.
We also had a terrific group – artists, poets, photographers, teachers, ceramicists, book makers, graphic designers, and singers! It was truly an amazing adventure, page after page. Here are some of our many results.
